ABOUT US

The Red&Black, the official student newspaper of Washington & Jefferson College, is put together by a dedicated Editorial Board and staff of student writers at the College; Our staff members hail from a variety of majors, concentrations, geographic locations and belief systems. As employees we strive for journalistic integrity and uphold an open-door policy (anyone can join and anyone can write for the paper).

The mission of the Red & Black is to amplify student voices, especially of those who may be or feel marginalized. This year, we also hope to increase the visibility of the newspaper by connecting with more student organizations on campus and boosting advertising efforts.
